The Honda NSX, advertised in North America as the Acura NSX, is a two-situate, mid-motor sports vehicle produced by Honda.

The roots of the NSX follow back to 1984, with the HP-X (Honda Pininfarina eXperimental) idea, which was a mid-engined 3.0 L V6 engined back wheel drive sports vehicle. Honda focused on the venture, with the aim of gathering or surpassing the exhibition of the then V8 engined Ferrari extend, while offering unwavering quality and a lower value point. The idea therefore developed and had its name changed to NS-X, which meant “New”, “Sportscar” “Obscure world” (the X was a reference to the numerical image X, which represents an obscure variable),[although the generation model was propelled as the NSX.
